About This Tool
In high-end design, architecture, and engineering, PDFs often contain Optional Content Groups (OCG)—more commonly known as Layers. These layers allow you to store multiple versions of a design (e.g., electrical vs. plumbing) in a single file.
Our OCG Manager gives you full control over this internal structure. You can toggle the default visibility of layers, rename them for better organization, or delete extraneous layers to reduce file size and complexity. This is the ultimate "clean-up" tool for CAD exports and professional map files.
Professional Privacy: Deep document structures like OCG can hide sensitive project data. Our manager works entirely in your browser, keeping your blueprints and designs secure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why don't I see any layers?
Most standard PDFs (from Word or scanners) are "flat" and don't have layers. This tool is specifically for files created in software like AutoCAD, Illustrator, or InDesign.
Will deleting a layer make the file smaller?
Yes, if you delete the layer and the objects associated with it, the PDF file size will decrease.
Is "Locked" the same as "Hidden"?
No. A hidden layer is still in the file but not visible. A locked layer might be visible but cannot be toggled by the end-user. Our tool allows you to manage both states.
